2016 Safeway Open leaderboard, results and prize money payouts



The 2016 Safeway Open was won by Brendan Steele, who picked up his second PGA Tour title and first since the 2011 Valero Texas Open by a shot over Patton Kizzire, who sought his first Tour win. Steele shot 18-under-par 270 on the North Course at the Silverado Resort in Napa, Calif.

Paul Casey, Michael Kim, Johnson Wagner and Scott Piercy finished tied for third place at 16 under par.

Steele won the $1.08 million winner's share of the $6 million purse.
