VIDEO: Dad picks up son to get him out of way of Rickie Fowler drive

One dad in particular was awesome on Father's Day at Pinehurst No. 2.

Rickie Fowler pulled his tee shot at the par-4 16th in the final round of the 2014 U.S. Open. When the ball landed in the pine straw, it began scooting toward a dad and his son. The dad did what any dad would do in the situation: He picked his kid up to get him out of the way of the ball.

Eventually the ball made its way toward a television camera stand, but the boy was just fine.
