Jay’s Plays NFL picks: Week 12 predictions and bettor’s guide

Ernesto keeps gobbling up wins like Americans gobble dry, stringy turkey on Thanksgiving! A 4-2 week (1-2 in teasers) swells the season totals to a strong 33-13 overall, 14-9 in teasers. Last week we won with the Bears (3-0 for us this season), Saints (2-0 for us) and a Chiefs cover (4-0 for us), along with an over/under. The Chargers were our lone loss (2-1).

Don’t blink, Chargers! The toughest part of the season is yet to come!

As always, we do two-team teasers here, so we can move the line 6 points either way. We use the lines from Vegas Insider, HOME TEAM IN CAPS.

Patriots (-3.5) at JETS
BENGALS (Even) vs. Browns

The Jets used to give the Pats a nasty tussle, but they are in such disarray now, the only thing that could get worse is another Buttfumble. The Browns are still searching, but it seems like every time they fill one hole, they did it by using the dirt they got from digging another!

HOME COOKIN’!

COLTS (-3) vs. Dolphins
TEXANS (+2) vs. Titans

The only thing consistent about the Dolphins is their inconsistency. Meanwhile, Andrew Luck is rounding back into form just nicely. Next year, they may easily post double-digit wins and cruise to the division title. The Texans’ defense is strong enough to keep them in the game. Can they avoid the mistakes and head-scratching play calling that have plagued them in their losses?

NFC PLAYOFF MATCHUP IN THE MAKING?

SAINTS (-7) vs. Falcons
Packers (+9.5) at VIKINGS

I’m sorry, but Kirk Cousins was never the answer…for any team. Wisconsin Ninja will mop the floor with him. Meanwhile the Saints, are for the moment, the best team in the NFL.
