Jeep Avenger, here are prices and range

PETROL OR BATTERY – The small (408 cm long) and captivating SUV Jeep Avengerit can be booked from November 2022, in the rich launch versions First Edition limited edition. Prices: 26,900 euros for the 101 horsepower 1.2 three-cylinder petrol turbo with manual gearbox (in dealerships in February) and 39,500 euros for electric (here the first contact), arriving a few weeks later with 156 HP and 400 km of declared range. Now, the prices and equipment of the other versions have been communicated, always offered with the engines of the First Edition; by the end of 2023 the debut of theelectric 4×4 (you see here the prototype), and we also expect a 1.2 light hybrid with a seven-speed dual-clutch robotic gearbox.

THE ELECTRIC FROM 35,400 EUROS – Only for the battery version there is a set up”basis”, which in any case is not bare. In the 35,400 euros the list includes the automatic single-zone “climate”, four electric windows and the connected multimedia system with 10.25″ display. Present, among the driving aids, the cruise control, the automatic emergency braking which also detects pedestrians and cyclists, the maintenance in the lane, the anti-shock warning and the display of road signs in the dashboard (which has a 7″ central display. Whether it’s a Jeep, albeit front-wheel drive, can be seen from the specific selectable driving modes also for off-road use and the speed limiter on steep descents: useful tools on surfaces with little grip. The wheels are in 16” steel, the LED headlights and the inserts in the bumpers are gray.

THE 1.2 FROM 23,300 EUROS – The longitude electric (for 2,500 euros more, 37,900 euros in all) adds alloy wheels (always 16”), handles in the same color as the bodywork, defrostable rear view mirrors, an audio system with six speakers instead of four, rear parking sensors and a adjustable. The range of the 1.2 petrol starts with the Longitude: price of 23,300 euroswith the same endowment as the electric one if we exclude the “climate” (which is manual).

THE EQUIPMENT RISES WITH THE ALTITUDE – The next level is theAltitude: they serve 25,300 euros for 1.2 e 39,900 euros for electricity. For an additional 2,000 euros you get quite a lot. The aesthetics take advantage of the 17” rims, the metallic gray inserts in the fascias and the glossy black mirror caps. Unlocking the locks without a key (only for the electric) and motorized tailgate are a nice touch of additional practicality, and inside there is the all-digital dashboard of 10.25 “, two rear USB-C sockets for recharging smartphones and seats covered in fabric and eco-leather (the latter material also covers the steering wheel rim). The inserts in the dashboard simulate aluminium. Also standard is adaptive cruise control, which adjusts speed based on the traffic in front, and the 1.2 gains automatic “climate”.

SUMMIT, the “EXAGERATED” – The most luxurious version is called Summit (name already adopted by the manufacturer for the Grand Cherokee) and involves an increase in the price list of 3,000 euros: we are at 28,300 euros for the three cylinder ea 42,900 euros for the battery one. Here is really everything you can expect in a car of this type. Outside, the Summit stands out for its 18” rims, partly diamond-cut and partly black, dark rear windows and LED lights (also added are the fog lights, again with diodes, and automatic high beam); the rear-view mirrors can be folded electrically and each has a courtesy LED that illuminates the ground near the door. In the passenger compartment, enlivened by a yellow insert on the dashboard, we find ambient lights in various colors to choose from, a folding “tablet-type” cover for the compartment in the console (only for the electric version), the windscreen and heated front seats , the plate for wireless charging of smartphones and the central frameless and self-dimming mirror. The 1.2 also has an electronic key as standard, for automatic opening and closing of the doors and button-operated engine start. The technological equipment is very rich: distance sensors all around the car, wide-range rear view camera, rear blind spot sensors. And then the centering in the lane, which in the electric version, combined with the cruise control that goes as far as stopping the car, guarantees level 2 semi-autonomous driving.
