Since the beginning of the year, fuel prices have started to rise relentlessly, reaching figures never seen before, putting Italian motorists and families in serious difficulty, especially those who are forced to use the car every day to go to work.
The Government, as we all know, after weeks of difficulty, has launched the cut in excise duties (extended again)which served to lower prices at the pump and make the situation at least livable, despite the fact that prices have skyrocketed and continue to empty the pockets of Italians, who are now exhausted by these continuous increases.
The fuel bonus: how to apply
New aid for citizens is on the way: starting from yesterday, September 12, it is possible to apply for the fuel bonus. After a long wait, he arrived. Despite the cut in excise duties and some tricks devised by motorists to save gasolinethe situation has in any case been unsustainable for months now.
A truly tragic moment for the Bel Paese, if we also consider the increase in electricity and gas bills and – in general – in every daily expense. The oil producing countries have reduced production, and what follows is the too high price to bear (obviously not the only reason for the increases).
The bonus has been granted since yesterday and it is valid up to 30 days later, through the portal of the Excise Agency – Customs and Monopolies. Is released a tax credit of 28%the request can be made by freight transport companies on behalf of third parties, which have their operational headquarters or a stable organization in Italy.
They are the workers who have the possibility of obtaining a refund on the expenses for fuel, made between January and March 2022 to work with their vehicles. This is a new contribution that can be combined with other concessions belonging to the same category, only and exclusively if used as compensation in the F24 form. How to apply: by accessing the platform with SPID or Electronic Identity Card and filling in the appropriate form.
That’s not all: employees can also receive a petrol voucher of up to 200 euros in value, which is paid directly to the pay slip by the employer. There are no income limits and it is not necessary to have specific requirements to access this bonus.
Fuel Prices Today: A Glimmer of Light
It appears that at the moment prices are falling. According to the processing carried out by Quotidiano Energia on the basis of the data that were communicated by the managers to the Mise Price Observatory and updated at 8 am on Sunday 11 September, the average prices charged are:
- petrol in self-service mode at 1,728 euros / liter (1,745 before), with the different brands ranging from 1,712 to 1,735 euros / liter;
- self-service diesel at 1,832 euros / liter (1,843 last Friday), with companies between 1,815 and 1,847 euros / liter;
- petrol mode served at 1.875 euros / liter (1.897 the previous figure);
- diesel served at 1,976 euros / liter (previously 1,990);
- LPG between 0.798 and 0.822 euros / liter;
- auto methane between 2,995 and 3,316.
The hope is that the situation will improve and that this declining trend will continue, to reach “normal” and affordable fuel prices for Italian families.
