Piazza Affari records the worst performance of the day in Europe on the eve of the political elections. Pierre Veyret – ActivTrades technical analyst – reported that Stoxx-50 index is still flirting with the minimum of two mesi around 3,400 points, trading inside a short-term bearish channel. According to the expert, the next support can be positioned towards 3,375 points and 3,355 points, the lowest level reached this year. “Breaking this level would be extremely threatening for prices as it would open the door to a deeper correction towards 3,300, 3,050 points and 2,730.0 points per extension,” warned Pierre Veyret.

At 13.55 the FTSEMib it was down 3.11% to 21,122 points, after hitting an intraday low of 21,067 points. At the same time the FTSE Italia All Share it was losing 3.05%. Minus sign also for the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (-2.7%) and for FTSE Italia Star (-2.1%).

The bitcoin it fell below $ 19,000 (just under € 19,500).

The BTP-Bund spread it expanded to 225 points, with the ten-year BTP yielding above 4.2%.

The exception is Monte dei Paschi di Sienaeven if it falls back from the little mothers touched in the morning. The board of directors of the Piazzetta Cuccia institute approved the draft financial statements for the 2021/2022 financial year, confirming the data communicated on 29 July 2022; in particular, the net result was 907 million euros. Mediobanca has proposed the distribution of a dividend of € 0.75 per share.

Worse performance for the BancoBPM (-4.73%) and for UniCredit (-3.61%).

Negative performance also for stocks in the oil sectorafter the price of crude oil in New York (contract expiring in November 2022) fell below 81 dollars a barrel. ENI records a decrease of 3.54% to 10.938 euros. Bad too Tenaris (-4.89% to 12.94 euros).

In the STAR segment, the progress of Digital Bros (+ 6.43% to 23.84 euros), after the disclosure of the financial results for the financial year 2021/2022. The management of the company has indicated that it expects to exceed 50 million euros in investments also in the current year, expecting revenues to grow for the next two years.
