Few can boast the motor and economic results of Tesla, which over the years has proven to be a real leader within the automotive sector. Especially in view of the definitive transition – in Europe and in various states of the USA – from traditional engines to electric technology.

In addition to the much discussed and widespread engines in recent years, Tesla is also famous for its constant development of various technologies and innovations. In this case, however, referring to 2023 that has almost just begun, we will not speak of the automotive giant in exactly futuristic terms. The latest choice undertaken by the company managed by Elon Musk in fact certifies a sort of step back which will make many enthusiasts and insiders discuss.

Better times will come in view of 2035

Before dwelling on the choice made by Elon Musk and his associates, it is right to talk about the latest news that has involved – or rather, invested – the most famous and renowned company of all for what concerns the electric. From the purchase of Twitter arrived directly from Elon Musk himself, up to the collapse of Tesla shares that have aroused many concerns in the mind of every shareholder.

Not an easy period for the American brand, which however does not give up and aims to continue its privileged path which, between now and 2035, could make it the western – and not only – number one company overall. To do this, however, it is of crucial importance that Musk and colleagues no longer commit missteps. The treasure accumulated over the years must be managed and not squandered. Although, recently, however, there seems to have been some step back by the brand.

Tesla, a step back for the brand: what it is about

2023 started a few days ago, and there are already some new features in the Tesla house. We are referring to the Tesla Model S and the Model X, the most famous models of the US manufacturer which has made a series of aesthetic and technical changes; the modified vehicles in question will also be available in Italy. Tesla has updated the Dual Motor All Wheel Drive variants with the great goal of making them more similar in all respects to the highly performing Plaid.

The big news – or we could even say step back – it’s in the steering wheel. In fact, it is worth highlighting the return to the classic one instead of the Yoke – optional – which is really a big change. Italian customers will also find a round steering wheel in the standard equipment.

As for the engines, the Model S and Model X are equipped with two permanent magnet motors that offer simply exceptional performance (maximum speed 250 kilometers per hour). The range is 634 kilometers for the first and 576 for the second. The price of the Model S will be 115,990 euros, for the Model X of 124,990. Both will be available in view of next March.
