Packaging and contents
In packaging we find the 30W power supply, the USB-C cable, the headphones with 3.5mm jack and a transparent silicone cover. Comprehensive equipment.
Design and touch-and-feel materials
G52 is built in plastic and glass, it weighs 169 grams, so it’s quite light in relation to the size and it’s thick 8mm. It is not certified for waterproofing but still has a water repellent treatment.
The motorcycle displays here it is not a real always-on because it is activated only when we touch or lift the phone, however it is very convenient to be able to press and hold a notification icon to see a preview. About the connectivity instead we find: 4G, dual-band WiFI, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, Android Auto and Google Pay. In addition to the USB-C 2.0 port, there is also a headphone jack.
The display it’s a AMOLED from 6.6″ with FullHD+ resolution, 402PPI and refresh rate a 90Hz. It will not be a super panel but it has no particular defects and can also be seen under the sun, therefore widely promoted!
Processor and memory
The processor is one Snapdragon 680 4G (6nm) and is joined by 4GB from RAM And 128GB from expandable internal memory via microSD.
There battery it’s a 5,000mAh with 30W charge e autonomy and from battery phone, I have reached the end of my super stressful day with still 40% so he can also cover two standard days.
Software and ecosystem
Android 12 which as usual Motorola keeps stock but adding little goodies such as gestures, shortcuts such as shaking the phone to activate the torch and icons and home customizations.
Excellent reception, on this Motorola never disappoints, and the audio quality on calls is also good.
Photo and video
The rooms compartment is composed by:
- a room principal from 50MP with f/1.8 aperture,
- room ultra wide angle from 8MP f/2.2,
- 2MP macro camera,
- room front from 16MP f/2.5.
The photos are probably what most detach it from higher-end phones but they aren’t even that bad, for a simple social use without great pretensions they are fine. There is also the wide angle which under 199 euros is often missing.
The audio it is stereo and has an excellent quality.
Apps and gaming
The performance they are good, obviously not top of the range but it does not suffer from major slowdowns and does not “stuck”, which is rare in this price range. Also discreet vibration feedbacknot perfect but more than acceptable.
Within the Motorola G series smartphones there are many, both cheaper and more expensive than this one but for those with a budget under 200 euros my advice falls on him. Don’t take the ones that have 5G but are much slower and have an LCD screen, also because in the end we’re talking about a 20 euro or so difference.
G52 is reliable, has a nice display AMOLED and good performance, in short, at 180/190 euros it is BEST BUY! Anyway here is the comparison with him and what I think are the best smartphones around 200 euros:
Motorola moto g52 (90Hz OLED display, 50 MP triple camera, 5000 mAh battery, 6/1 …
