CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT – Yet another update, yet another “chisel job” for the evergreen Nissan GT-Rwhich in its newly renewed version will land in some selected American dealerships during next spring (in Europe it is no longer imported from 2022 because it is outside the sound limits). Born in 2007, this Japanese super sports car – capable, with its exceptional performance, of worrying many more famous supercars – is approaching the culmination of its long and brilliant career. Before the handover to the new generation model, for the last dance therefore comes a beautiful “refreshed” to the look (with a new spoiler that increases downforce by 10%, redesigned front and rear bumpers, new position lights with honeycomb pattern and a sharper grille), accompanied by a substantial package of novelties “under the skin”.

“UNDER THE SKIN” THE RECIPE DOES NOT CHANGE – Nothing or almost nothing changes, of course, under the hood, where the Nissan GT-R reconfirms one of its greatest strengths: al 3.8 V6 biturbo petrol, which supplies 573 hp in the “normal” version and reaches altitude 608 hp on the more specialized Nismoa refined four-wheel drive system (made even more effective in cornering with the addition of a limited slip front differential, but only for the Nismo) and a very fast six-speed dual clutch gearbox are coupled.

TRIBUTE TO THE PAST – Between the Premium model, which is at the base of the range, and the more extreme Nismo variant, the Nissan GT-R T-Spec: mounts more powerful carbon-ceramic brakes and stands out for its more “muscular” front fascia and 20-inch diameter golden alloy wheels. To give a “vintage” touch to the look, it is possible to choose two body colors taken directly from the palette of the legendary GT-R R34 Skyline: from two limited editions of this famous model, for which lovers of the genre have a sort of ”, derive the special shades Millenium Jade and Midnight Purple.
AND FOR THOSE WHO HAVE VERY HEAVY FOOT… – To whom in the Nissan GT-R looking for a faithful and exhilarating companion for having fun on the track, and wanting an even more “pure” driving experience, the Nismo version is destined. There are numerous points of contact with the GT-3 racing version: from the pair of turbochargers, specific to the model, to a more extensive use of carbon fiber – the material that makes up the roof (lightened, it lowers the center of gravity of the car ), the mirrors, both the bumpers and the bonnets, the spoiler and the other aerodynamic appendages) – to the reinforced body to withstand the greater stresses deriving from “extreme” use. The gearbox has also been revised, with its control electronics re-calibrated to offer even quicker gear changes.
