DAZN surprise: the prices of the Plus and Standard subscriptions are going up

DAZN raises prices – DAZN has presented new plans for 2023 that allow all fans to customize their viewing experience of the rich catalog of live and on demand sports events and content available on the streaming platform. Surprisingly, the prices of the subscriptions for the Plus and Standard plans have risen compared to the previous offer. Furthermore, as already known, the new plan is also added start.

The price increase only affects new customers and those who had previously canceled their subscription. For those who are already subscribers or have their subscription paused (details in the last part of this article), the price will not change.

DAZN raises prices – The Standard plan

Starting from 29.99 euros per month, the Standard plan allows you to watch live events broadcast or on-demand content simultaneously on two registered devices, as long as they are both connected to the same internet network in your home (for example, a roommate connected from home via Smart TV and one via smartphone, both connected to the same internet network as your home). The plan also allows you to register the DAZN App on up to six devices and use the DAZN service on the go, but not while the other registered device is being used.

The cost of 29.99 euros per month is guaranteed with a minimum stay of 12 months, and payment from month to month in 12 installments of 29.99 euros per month. It will be possible to cancel the automatic renewal directly from the “My Account” area. If, on the other hand, you want to maintain the flexibility of canceling with 30 days notice, the monthly cost will be equal to 39.99 euros per month.

DAZN raises prices – The Plus plan

As for the basic price, the cost of the DAZN Plus subscription will increase. Starting from 44.99 euros per month, the plan allows you to watch broadcast live events or on-demand content on two registered devices at the same time, even in different locations (for example, a member of the subscriber’s household logged in from home and the customer logged in from a different location). The PLUS plan allows you to register up to a maximum of seven devices on the DAZN App and use the DAZN service on the go, with simultaneous viewing.

With the discounted annual contract, with a minimum stay of 12 months, it will be possible to pay from month to month in 12 installments of 44.99 euros per month. You can cancel the automatic renewal directly from the “My Account” area. If, on the other hand, the customer wants to maintain the flexibility to cancel with 30 days notice, the monthly cost will rise to 54.99 euros per month.

DAZN raises prices – How to activate with the annual discount

To activate the discounted annual contract, simply select the “Annual-discounted” option on the plan selection page and then enter credit/debit card or paypal as the payment method. The discounted annual plan is not available to those who pay through third parties with the apple and google digital stores.

DAZN raises prices – The Start plan

In addition to the price increase for the previous two plans, DAZN has also launched Start, the new content pack available at 12.99 euros per monthdedicated to those who love to follow sports other than football, a new offer dedicated to multisport that includes all of Italian basketball and the best of European basketball, the NFL, great boxing, the UFC and the best of international fighting.

With the DAZN Start plan, you can register up to four devices. You can watch DAZN on two of these devices at the same time, if both are connected to the same internet network in your home. This means for example that you can watch DAZN simultaneously on your Smart TV and on your mobile phone, but both devices must be connected to the same internet network in your home.

DAZN raises prices – What changes for those who were already subscribed

For already active customers, the price remains the same, despite the enrichment of the sports offer and the greater flexibility. The same goes for those who have paused their subscription: once the break is over, they will return to using the service at the previous price and will have included all the new sports content.

New subscribers will instead have various solutions available, choosing which subscription to activate according to their needs and the offers that will be launched from time to time. An offer that allows the Italian sports fan to live by subscribing to a single platform thanks to a flexible experience. Customers who subscribe starting today, Wednesday 2 January, will in fact have the option of keeping the monthly price stable, against an enriched content offer. We also mention the 12-month option for those who want to subscribe with a “locked” price.
