Sweden, Magdalena Andersson’s Social Democrats in the lead. But it is a boom of the far right: second with 20% – Il Fatto Quotidiano

There Sweden goes to the polls, elects i Social Democrats (S) of the outgoing premier Magdalena Andersson and gives the majority to the center right with the extreme right included, for three seats. This is what happened last night. The result is still provisional: the final one will not be available until Wednesday. There are no votes from foreigners, but the setback and disappointment was burning for the center-left. It is practically the same as the previous election result. A reversed roles though. From the very beginning of the count it is clear that the real winners are Andersson with over 30% of the votes, and the right-wing extremists, the Sverigedemokraterna (SD), led by the leader Jimmie Åkessonwhich with the 20.7% becomes the second largest party in the country. For the red-green coalition, the history of 2018 seems to repeat itself, when the premier was the tightrope walker with a minority government Stefan Löfven. It seems undermined by the SD by 1.7 percentage points Ulf Kristersson, historical face of the Moderaterna (M), who dared for the first time to open to an agreement with the SD, without however speaking of a true alliance. Imitating his positions to fight the criminal gangs that bloodied the cities on a daily basis did not bring him good, it is immediately thought. The Swedes on the subject of “underworld equals immigrants”, preferred the original “executioner” to a mitigated stunt double. The theme of the safety in fact, declined in different languages, it was at the center of the electoral campaign until the last televised duels. But when, with the increase in bills, panic among citizens also increased, the epicenter of the debate became the supply andenergy independence under the banner of protectionism, with a Right solution, that is to re-ignite the nuclear power plants, and a Left one, which proposes to detach the national energy market from the European one, guaranteeing electricity at a controlled price to the country, and selling the surplus at the price of market, currently insane, to Europe. The attention turned towards the economy seems to have helped the Social Democratic prime minister, who has been cornered several times during the debates, because the implosion of crime took place during the double term of her party.

Greens are growing (MP), but very little compared to expectations. Data for favorites, for a while it is doubted they will even be able to overcome the 4% barrier, despite the climate and energy emergency and although they are in the homeland of Greta Thunberg. During the electoral campaign they preferred to criticize the opposition parties rather than propose, and the voter noticed this. Also i Kristdemokraterna (KD) ei Liberalerna (L, liberals). Disappointment also for the Left party of Nooshi Dadgostar. The daughter of a couple who fled Iran, charismatic, prepared, pays the price of having brought down the former Social Democratic premier Stefan Löfven, who gave way to Andersson last November, because his plan to liberalize rents was disheartened , right from her. The Swedes have not digested it, interpreting the choice of the leader of the Left as a move purely to satisfy appetites for power. She passes midnight, she continues the counting, and we continue to imagine Andersson who, in a tightrope walker version, she will have to deal with the Centerpartiet and its leader, Annie Lööf. Famous because in 2018 she put herself under the Social Democratic axis a few days after swearing to Sweden that she would never move to the left, Lööf and her party represent the centrist interpretation of the malpancismo of that part of society that feels little considered. : the peasants who live and work in the countryside and the electorate of small neighborhoods immersed in the great northern expanses. Thus appears a sort of counterweight of “almost” Left to the SD. In fact, Lööf addresses this electorate when she talks about equal conditions for all, green transition, she is fighting against racism and xenophobia. To keep up with Åkesson it would take more, however, especially these days. The extremist had predicted the social bomb as early as 2010, when for the first time, at the age of 31, he entered Parliament. In his ranks circulate several thugs recovered from neo-Nazi groups, but he manages to wipe his face, to use harsh and direct terms, unpublished in the Swedish debate. Out of control immigration, a “parallel society” to use his expressions, are now objective. The increase in shootings and crimes by gangs made up of young foreigners, who in turn hire very young people for small wages, are a phenomenon of impressive size in Sweden today. About the 93% of the votes were scrutinized. Based on this preliminary result, Moderati, Sverigedemocraterna, Krisdemokratica and Liberalerna collect 176 seats in Parliament, while Socialdemokraterna, Left Party, Greens and Center Party 173.
